Site Capacity

The site has considerable capacity for future development.

In the area zoned for hospital purposes in the suburb of Øya, there is sufficient reserve capacity for a 20 per cent expansion in relation to the development agreement, including the Psychiatric Centre.

An additional 60,000 m2 of hospital space can be built by increasing the height of buildings and changing the configuration of the developed area. A further reserve can be released by agreement with private owners, without affecting existing residential areas and open spaces.
