Phase 1 involvement

For the Neuro Centre and the Women and Children's Centre, comprehensive activity analyses have been undertaken and proposals have been agreed for improvements in operational routines for all groups of patients.

The staff of the Laboratory Centre have analysed common operational protocols and competence development programmes. This preparation has revealed bottlenecks in activity and aspects needing improvement.

Capacity as well as staff and student numbers have been estimated on the basis of the analyses. Hospital and university staff have been consulted during all phases of the planning process.

The groups have consisted of various consulting and staff representatives. Patient representatives and representatives of the primary health service and the region have also participated in the planning.

The management at St. Olav's Hospital, psychiatric services for the county and the Faculty of Medicine have discussed and agreed the pre-project proposals.
