Project team relocates

The project organization relocates to new offices in the old street car garage south of the hospital.

	The old gates for street car carriages are now a stately entrance to modern offices.

The new location offers the possibility to have most staff at the same premises, and offers greater flexibility for the future. Two building teams stay in temporary housing on the building site.

The organization has grown to 140 people, and strained the old candy factory to its limits and beyond. Management expects considerable savings from better communication with more staff within earshot of each other.

- We had positive experience with co-location of architects and engineers in the preliminary stages for phase 2. The co-location saved both time and money, and we want to continue this process when the main contractor comes on board in May 2005, says Staff Manager Trond Skjefstad.

Staff will now also be able to test the same open office solutions which are planned for the hospital. Some think of this as divine retribution!

The new street address is Professor Brochs gate 6. Mailing address is still simply Helsebygg, 7488 Trondheim, Norway. Telephone numbers and e-mail addresses are also unchanged.
