Cake for 617 hospital builders

“We are working harder than ever before to complete St. Olavs Hospital," says Managing Director of the Hospital Development Project, Johan Arnt Vatnan. On October 31st he treated 617 hospital builders to cake!

	The hospital kitchen assisted in preparing 25 huge cakes for delivery. Construction workers eat large pieces of cake!

With this cake day at Øya, the Hospital Development Project marked that the first center of Building Phase II, Gastro Center, is completely constructed and ready for technical testing.

“We must celebrate important milestones and praise all who are involved in building one of Europe’s best university hospitals. Thanks to all of them, the hospital development project is going well and according to plan, both economically and progression-wise, says Vatnan. According to the managing director, there are savings of NOK166 million kroner in sight for Building Phase II.
