The Heart of the New Hospital

Olav Kyrres* Plaza will be established at the center of the hospital area by 2013. The large open plaza will be very important for orientation and identification in the new hospital precinct. See the new photo mock-ups from Asplan Viak.

*Olav Kyrre was the third Olav of Norway, and started the construction of Nidaros Cathedral. His grandmother Åsta was the mother of two kings, St. Olav and Olav Kyrre’s father Harald Hardrada, from two separate marriages.
