Project Owners

The Hospital Development project has dual ownership, being responsible both to the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education and Research.

The hospital (75% of the total) is a public trust, one of several hospitals owned by the Central Norway Regional Health Authority which in turn derives its funding from the Ministry of Health. All secondary and tertiary health care in the region is funded and administered through this mechanism.

The Faculty of Medicine (25% of the total) is a faculty under NTNU, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. The university is one of 5 regional state universitys, funded by the Ministry of Education and Research
